Armor is helping reduce the environmental cost of 3D printing by launching a recycled and recyclable 3D filament under its OWA brand. Compatible with all fused deposition modelling 3D printers, the eco-friendly filament is made from HIPS (high impact polystyrene) plastic, an alternative to ABS and PLA plastics. OWA 3D reels and filaments are made from recovered waste, including used ink cartridges, and have 30% lower CO2 emissions than a brand new filament.
