Microsoft is promising more productive meetings and easier collaboration with the Microsoft Surface Hub. Available in 55- and 84-inch versions, the large-screen remote meeting and collaboration device is designed to
transform the way groups work together just as the PC revolutionised personal productivity. It comprises a cloud-connected Windows 10 device; a screen capable of detecting 100 points of multi-touch and up to three simultaneous pen inputs; dual 1080p front-facing video cameras; a four-element microphone array that detects and follows voice during video-conferencing sessions; and built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC that make it easy to share content from wireless devices. Microsoft says anyone can walk up to the Surface Hub and start using it for white-boarding, to initiate a video-conference or to share content from wired or wireless devices.
