Blue Sky Digital: Going green

A South Wales super-school, Ysgol Cwm Brombil in Margam, is aiming to reduce its environmental impact and cut costs by standardising on HP PageWide printers throughout the school. As well as offering a 20% lower cost per copy than comparable laser devices in the first year of the school’s managed print services (MPS) contract, the printers produce less plastic waste and use 73% less energy, contributing to a 55% smaller carbon footprint. Cardiff-based MPS provider Blue Sky Digital has installed five HP PageWide printers in the secondary school and two in the primary school.
