The Nikolaos Nikou, CEO and co-founder of Classter celebrates numerous significant business milestones
Classter, the all-in-one student and learning management system, is today celebrating its presence in more than 600 educational institutions worldwide. Following a significant period of growth, it has recently hit a number of key milestones in its growth projections, including being represented in more than 600 educational institutions across 25 different countries. Classter has also exceeded more than 500,000 active users, with a further 1,500 free accounts now in operation.
Founded in 2015, Classter’s technology allows kindergartens, schools, universities and more to bring their educational needs under one roof. The platform is an end-to-end cloud management solution that can support entire management needs, by offering a wide range of features including learning, admissions, timetabling, finance, communication, transportation and more. Accessible for students, teachers, parents and other staff, Classter is the solution for any academic system.
Nikolaos Nikou, CEO and co-founder of Classter, said: “During what has been an incredibly challenging 18 months for the education sector, the technology that Classter has provided to educational institutions across the globe has allowed educators to pivot to still provide high quality and full circle educational offerings in a virtual format.
“We’re incredibly proud to have hit the milestone of being represented in over 600 educational institutions in just six years. As we continue to grow and develop during this time of success, we’re excited to offer more educational institutions the chance to implement a full scale student and learning management system.”
Classter’s achievement of these milestones follows its expansion to the United States in May, with the intention to replicate its European success across North America and Canada. Supported by a budding presence in the United States, the expansion has seen Classter strengthen its partner network across the region, aiding the development of a deeper understanding of the market’s needs.
Mr. Nikou concluded: “The COVID-19 pandemic has forced students and teachers to shift and adapt to a completely new way of working. We have been proud to bring the Classter platform to institutions across the world to support their virtual classroom environment, and we look forward to continuing to extend our mission to make learning accessible and enjoyable for everyone, from anywhere.”
Classter was launched in 2015 by a small team of software engineers with a keen interest in digitally transforming a rather “traditional” industry. In 2015, Classter received seed financing from a major VC capital firm in Greece – Odyssey Jeremie Partners SCA SICAR – with the aim of accelerating product development and accessing international markets. Now, just a few years later, Classter has developed a broad network of clients and partners in more than 25 countries across 5 continents.
Classter is recognized as one of the major EdTech solutions in the Student Information System segment, and is proud to be a Microsoft Partner. Classter is based in Greece and currently employs a team of 30 people.
