Impulse buying is easier than ever with a new ‘advertising recognition trigger’ from Powa Technologies. The interactive technology turns printed advertisements and posters into shop windows by enabling consumers to buy
what they see on sight. With PowaTag Instant Buyenabled advertisements, there is no need for the customer to scan a QR code or go to a website to buy a product. If they like what they see, they just need to take a photo of the poster/ad with their smartphone. The PowaTag app will find the product in question, and with just two taps the user can buy it using pre-entered payment and delivery information. As well as converting consumer interest into sales, the technology enables vendors to see exactly which advert prompted a sale and so measure advertising effectiveness.
